Bought this after searching high and low for an audio version of Catcher in the Rye (it was the ONLY one I found). Very pleased to say that it was in excellent condition.
For students with learning challenges and people with vision issues, audio books are a great alternative. My hope is that audio format becomes more widely available.

I had to upgrade because I bought a new computer and my 2003 license was expired. This is a GREAT replacement for the 2003 Microsoft Office! I can’t say more about it. It was shipped to me as described when I purchased it and within minutes of receiving it I had it installed and running flawlessly!!! A MUST BUY!!!!

I don’t read books like these usually. Its meant for the younger teens. I find them too childish.However on my sister’s recommendation I decided to read it.
For the last two years of his life, twelve year old Artemis Fowl has looked for clues that would help him know more about the fairy civilisation. At last he found the sacred book of all fairies, `The Book’ containing all the secrets of the fairy civilisation. Artemis Fowl plans to kidnap one of the fairy kind to extract gold from the fairies, so that he could restore his family’s crumbling fortunes. But by kidnapping Captain Holly Short of Lower Elements Police, Artemis has almost triggered an inter-species war.
Artemis, the main protagonist of the book, is a child prodigy and can even be described as criminal mastermind. Though he seems cold and distant at first but as the story progresses he is shown as feeling guilt and remorse .
Holly is the first female in LEP-recon (Lower Elements Police reconnaissance) in the history of the fairy kind. She is courageous with a strong sense of right and wrong, and is very loyal to her kind. She possesses a sarcastic sense of humour. Holly is compassionate and caring even willing to heal Artemis’ mother and Butler.
Butler is the faithful bodyguard of Artemis. Each member of the butler family is allotted a Fowl to protect. Butler has been with Artemis since the day Artemis was born. He prefers to scare people rather than hurt them. Inside his tough exterior he has a soft and kind heart.
Artemis Fowl is fast and exciting. It’s one those books which you are unwilling to let go till you complete it. Throughout the book the narration changes from the human point of view to the fairy point of view enabling the reader to get to see from the perspective of both sides. Though at first Artemis seems cold and distant to everyone around him but as the story progresses the reader comes to see him as just a boy trying to take his father’s place to support the family. I won’t repeat other reviews. This is a great training tool. Many reviewers state the small size of HRM info. You can customize any of the data fields on each screen. HR becomes readable when you add as a data field. There are many options – time of day, date, speed, cadence etc. so you can customize what you need.
Towards Industrial Democracy
I take my time before buying things and for a couple of years I had been joking about buying an XBox. When the time to buy came, I researched and decided on a Wii. It exceeded anything I could have expected. The two points which sold me are 1) you have to get up off the couch and get active to play and 2) the focus isn’t so much on violence, blood and killing. I’m a senior citizen and my daughter picked this up for me. We played it until our arms were numb and she is looking to get her own Wii so we can play on-line. I check the daily weather and news stories on my Wii and my friends and I will soon start a bowling league. For the price, you can’t beat this system. If I were paying 50 cents for every game I played, it would have paid for itself in a month or two. The software selection is great and the prices are reasonable. I rate the Wii right up there with the Internet and the ATM. Get yours and you’ll see.

I purchased two of these early this summer. I found it to be easy to set up and very accurate. Within two weeks the digital readout started to malfunction leaving only a portion of the numbers legible. I paid for the return of it and another was sent to me that has worked well. The 2nd one, received as part of the original order, worked well for two months and then the same thing happened. Neither problem occurred after dropping it or other possible answers. I replaced the battery but the display continued to malfunction. When contacting the company, since it was under warranty, I was told I would need to send it back at my expense, pay another $8 for their costs and they highly recommended that I insure it as well. After realizing the cost I was incurring at this point was almost to the point of what I had paid originally – I decided to give up and try a different brand.
The vacuum is a great deal for the price. I’ve been impressed with its performance. However, it would have been nice to receive the one advertised in the photo. As others have indicated, this model no longer comes with a headlight or full-bag indicator, and the hose for use with the attachments is very short.
Light and the Glory
This is quite possibly the worst book I’ve ever read. A good friend of mine recommended it to me and I kept reading expecting something more… It just seemed to keep going on without any real purpose.
