Covers a broad chronology with nice balance and organization. The historic film and audio clips are of impressive quality. Retrospective commentaries by jazz figures who were there are reinforced by serious contemporary artists who help supply context. The pace of the interviews and music is just about perfect. I used this in a U.S. History course about the 1920s and 1930s, to illustrate connections between that era and contemporary culture, but also to stimulate students to consider persistent arguments about the distinctiveness of “American” culture. It did all of that, and was a pleasure too.
The Story of Jazz

I’m confused. Artemis Fowl is actually the antagonist of this story. How can the main character of a book be the antagonist? He is very un-likeable to the point where i almost put the book down. Here we have these good likeable fairy creatures and this spoiled rotten little boy just terrorizes them. I actually wanted him to die at the end. I think maybe this author got his priorities wrong when he developed this story. If the reader doesn’t like the main character, then there’s a problem. I will buy next book in this series and hope that Artemis becomes a bit more likeable. If i was still 12 years old and i saw Artemis on the

I am an adult and I enjoyed this book very much. My husband and I have listened to the whole series on audio book (narrated by Nathaniel Parker who performs it fantastically!) and each book is very engagaing, imaginative, funny and well written. As a Library Clerk, I recommend this book and series to people who like Harry Potter or any other kind of fantasy adventure. Once you start this book, you’ll get hooked on the whole series.

Everyone i know absolutely raves about this book – and I couldn’t agree more. I absolutely couldn’t wait to get home from work each to read another 80 pages or so, I could not put this book down. I was hooked after about 5 pages. It was so emotional and powerful. Read this book to remind yourself of your values and what ties us humans together.

Office 2007 is a good suite of applications. The only thing that prevents me from giving it a top rating is Microsoft’s constant altering the user interface from previous versions and, in my opinion, not for the better. I resorted to 3rd party add-ons that largely allowed one to revert to previous menus.
The Best of the

We bought this for a 12 year old boy who has never had a Ipod or Itouch. He loves it! Easy to use, figure out, good parental controls. Lots of free apps.
Premier Busy Buddy Puppy

This is a high quality power strip, however the one I got was a 1960’s harvest light green color??!!… HIDEOUS!!! The color was so aweful I had to wip out the spray paint and mask off the outlets and paint it a normal color.

I gave it 3 stars since the picture did not describe the product accurately as far as color goes.

I give it 5 stars on quality, and 4 stars on value, since it’s a little expensive, but hey, you get what you pay for!!.

Make sure you take the outlet part apart from the main base BEFORE punching the punch out hole out, I slightly damaged the ground wire by not doing so. Oh well, nothing a little liquid electrical tape won’t fix.

They’re have been other products like this, but this is probably the best aimed. The Wii is cool, its fun especially for all ages, for me though it just doesn’t last as long as other consoles – the fun I mean, it doesn’t seem like you’re in control as much as you should be when playing the games. It will get better, definitely worth buying though. I’ve never met a person that hasn’t liked it, and thats been like 3 years.
Woodland Fairy Acres Sweet

we got this to use in our minivan and it has been great. it doesn’t move once on the dash and makes it much more convenient to remove and set up the gps when getting in and out of the vehicle.

Hey guys, rather than complain and say, my pictures were crappy because of this crappy slow film, use a tripod. Great images aren’t free. If you’re shooting fast moving subjects, then you’re using the wrong film for the job at hand.
Digital spoils us fast, I guess.
